06.03.2016 railroad museum (Camlik) and Amara Sealight Elite, the hotel for one week of recreation

Todays breakfast dinner is very well again. After breakfast we visit teh railroad museum at Camlik, 15km away from Selcuk. Here we find a lot of old and rare steam locomotives and railroad cars. The entrance is 5TL per person. It's a pity, that a lot of the exhibition pieces are rusting. Perhaps they should increase the entrance to take the additional income for the preservation of the exhibition pieces.

With todays lunch our first weeks journey with Serap ends. Mit dem Mittagessen endet dann die einwöchige Studienreise. Serap takes us to the new built  luxury hotel „Amara Sealight Elite“ and says good bye to us very emotional.

The hotel is very impressive, our appartement is about 45qm big and very well equipped.

We first settle in our rooms, later we find a restaurant with coffee, tea, cake and - best of all - delicious waffles - all inclusive of course.

The travel management welcomes us and describes us in an one-hour-lesson the possibilities offered by town and hotel. The management also offers some additional services as expedition to Izmir, Samos i.e. But after our 1400km a week journey most of us are not interested in these offers.

The dinner buffet in our opinion leaves nothing to be desired, but an old lady misses "international standard" because there are no "German Schnitzel". Apart from that you have to adapt your drinking habits to the fact that your wine glass will never get empty.

After dinner we spend the rest of the evening gathered round in good company in the entrance hall of the hotel.
