From Bouzigues to behind Carnon

On Wednesday, 09-Sep-2015, we are not in a hurry because we have to pass Frontignan today and the liftbridge there will be open at 8.30h and at 16.00h only. We are told to use an hour tor reach this village, so we enjoy Bouzigues this forenoon.

At 14.00h we leave, cross the rest of the Etang de Thau, reach the Canal du Rhône à Sète and are in Frontignan at 15.30h. Like many others we wait patiently of the lifting of the bridge. Then we unfortunately get to know, that most of the skippers do not know about the rules on the water. The right of way will be eked out as in wild West.  We are lucky to be among the last boats ...

We want to go on for two or three more hours, hopening to find a mooring in the harbour of Carnon, but unfortunately there is no place for us. So we go along for another thirty minutes before we take a so called "mooring in free nature". You need a lot of bug spray here and you have to ignore the noise of the street at the other bank. Besides that the place is beautiful and Dexter enjoys it.
